Here is the update for the Girls From HARM night fight.
Originally I cut this on Adobe Premiere (version 3.0), when I added the night mask it made the scenes too dark and muddy. I went back to the source material and did the shots individually. I’m not finished, but I think this works a lot better.

Try to play the videos at the same time (I start one, then pause it, start the other and when it catches up hit play on the first one). It really shows the difference.

Okay, 93 or 2003 (but that didn’t rhyme). Going through this ENDLESS pile of VHS, Mini DV, 3/4″, Beta SP, DVCpro tapes & DVDs…I’m finding that some of the folks that auditioned for Amusement Films over the years have made it “almost-famous.”

Jaime Andrew of course comes to mind (but she still talks to us). Betty Ouyang had auditioned for us once as well (we loved her but the project was never made). She’s too big to work for us now. I also have a few others (but they might sue me if I mentioned them).

But we keep digging and we keep finding.

I hope to show a sample of how well the “re-mastering” is going. I think I should post before and after clips so you can get the idea.

Auditions…I still have ‘em!

Going through the footage I have found the auditions for the Girls from HARM. Originally, we were going to do an El Frenetico movie, but Frances Lee got pregnant. We tried to cast the new Go-Girl but didn’t get very far. But Jon Sanborne had a script-so we decided to take our G0-Girls call backs and make HARM. These auditions are pretty funny. Unfortunately, I can’t show the folks that didn’t make it (trust me, some are funny)-but I do have some fun stuff with CC Wong, Ary Nunez and Tina Lee -so look out for that!
